Eight Tasmanians will cycle, trail run and kayak over 1000 kilometres through some of our state’s most beautiful, most productive and most challenging landscapes.

Support of their journey will raise money for Rural Alive and Well (RAW) Tasmania and provide a focal point for industry conversations and programs that raise awareness of mental health and the importance of employee wellbeing, as highlighted in the industry Blueprint for Mental Health and Wellbeing launched by TMEC in 2017.

Here’s how you can get involved:

  1. Sponsor the event.
Participant, crew member and general sponsorship packages are available.

  2. Promote your business’s mental health and wellbeing WHS initiatives.
Take part in the TMEC Tassie’s Better with Balance video series. TMEC will fund creation of a short video for your business to promote your WHS commitment to improving mental health and wellbeing. Return the Expression of Interest form to secure your participation.

  3. Host a Better with Balance Workplace Health and Safety activity.
Raise employee awareness of your business’s mental health and wellbeing programs during the event and send images to admin_accounts@tasminerals.com.au for posting on the TMEC Facebook page.

  4. Fundraise.
Host a workplace BBQ, raffle or other team activity during the event and donate to RAW on the following link. When asked to 'Leave a Message', write TMEC Challenge and a message of support.
